Busy, busy, fun, fun...

This week has been pretty much awesome I have to say. Friday we had the most amazing football game, even though we lost, but it was only by one field goal in over time so we did our very best and I was proud of our guys. At least the cheerleaders rocked lol we screamed our hearts out for them. After the game I was exhausted but I got to spend time with my boyfriend which is always awesome.

Saturday I slept in for like the first time in 5o million years! It was fantastic! I also got to go shopping Saturday which is always a blast, especially when its Christmas shopping! I made it home just in time to watch the second half of the Georgia game, which by the way they beat the Florida Gators 48-30! Then me and my boyfriend went out to eat, came back, and finished watching the South Carolina vs. the Vols game.

Today I went to church and was able to spend some time in the nursery with the little babies! They are so cute! I love little kids but once they hit thier toddler years, thats it for me lol. Today was also my dads birthday (yay dad!) so we went out to eat at Outback with my grandparents on my dads side.

That, my friends, is what I like to call a small recape of my life since the last time I wrote...

Back Stage at Stuffs...

What?! Back stage at stuffs? What is that? A brand name? A band? And why is it the title of a blog? Lol well to answer all of your inquisitive questions, it is the name of an old record that I am listening to as I write this very minute. My dad is working with his (old but newly acquired) record player, which I thoroughly enjoy! I mean, come on, what could be better that listening to old, forgotten records or as I like to call them "big, black Cd's"? To me they possess a key that can take me back to the time in which they thrived! Now, Im listening to a song, on a record, which tells the story of eating popcorn in an unpleasant way lol. How awesome! Ok enough of my ramblings concerning records.

Yesterday (Monday for those of you who question today) was good. By the way, how common is it to describe our days as only good when we use so many descriptive words for a bad day? So I will advance past this obscurity an describe mine in a more eloquent way, so I shall start anew...

Yesterday (Monday for those of you who question today) was more than excessively adequate. Hows that? I went to school and then proceeded to cheer practice which is always on Mondays and Thursdays. It went rather well since we worked on stunts and tumbling, my two favorites as of now. I came home and started on my homework. Then, around dinner time, my boyfriend came over, which completely completes my day!!! We toiled over extremely trying algebra equations and conquered those pesty little problems!

Today was pretty much the same (with the exception of cheer practice and my boyfriend being able to come over today). My mother has decided that my new phone is not performing up to par and, therefore, must be sent back. Sad as it seems, part of me rejoices for as much as I loved it, the device was becoming a smidgen of an annoyance.

Another question one might have for me while they read this might be along the lines of, "Why in the world is she writing so weird?" Well first of all, I prefer to think of it as fancy, and second I have just finished reading 4 mandatory, draining chapters of Scarlet Letter, therefore, my brain is completely fried of all sensible speech patterns...AHH!!!...

My bad...

Let me explain why I haven't been able to write since Wednesday.

Thursday was our first day back to school since fall break. It went ok, it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. I had cheer practice (which went great! We worked on our quarter up, our arabesque full down, and even a one man!) and when I got home I had sooo much homework. It took me from 5 to 9:30 to do my math, and I didn't even finish it! I ended up going to bed at 1 and I hadn't even completely finished all of what I had hoped to accomplish.

Friday we had a Championship football game. We were playing for fourth place so that we can play next Friday for third place and so on. We won 40-14 and of course that meant that we, the cheerleaders, had to do roughly around 134 push-ups. Afterwards, a few of the football players and a few of the cheerleaders went out to eat Mexican. Now personally I don't enjoy Mexican food, well actually I refuse to eat it lol but I'm never hungry right after I cheer anyways. I came home around 11 and hung out with my boyfriend and after he left I was so tired that I completely conked out lol.

Saturday I woke up at around 9 and got ready to go to my bros soccer game but when we got there, his game had been moved to 1, and we had not been informed. So we came back home and I went ahead and knocked out my homework for the weekend! It always makes me feel so much better when I get my homework done lol! We went to my bros game at 1 and he won. My grandparents on my dads side, Mimi and Daniel, were there too and they are hilarious! We came back home and I cleaned a little and just kinda chilled since I was still exhausted from Thursday and Friday. Later on, last night, we went to Kobe's, in Nashville, with Mimi and Daniel as well, for my moms birthday dinner. We also went to Centennial Park to walk around the Parthenon. After that, we stopped by Starbucks, where I saw my G!!! When I got home I got on itunes to download some Christmas music (Christmas is my favorite! I absolutely love it!) but somehow, after I did that and tried to put it on my ipod, I lost over 100 songs that I have purchased in the past year!!! Wow I was sad lol to put it lightly and I spent all night trying to figure out how to undo what had been done!!!

This morning I managed to fix it though so no need to be alarmed. I didn't get to attend church this morning because my parents were up all last night due to the fact that someone had broken into my dads business last night. Not going to church always makes me sad and throws off my week a little because I feel like Ive missed a big part of my week, which I have, but on the upside, it makes me look even more forward to Wednesday with my youth group ThunderForce!

So those are all the reasons why I haven't been able to write till now. Do you forgive me? :-( Please...

Home again...

The majority of yesterday was spent driving home. We watched HSM remixed edition and Fantastic4: Rise of the Silver Surfer. When we did get home I got my phone! Its an old model but its incredible! Its got a keyboard and everyting! Lol I love it!

Today has been slow, to say the least. The Geek Squad guy came out and fixed our computer and, so once that was completed, I loaded up all the pictures from my camera to the computer with my new docking station. I also watched half of We Are Marshall lol I would have finished it but I had to get ready because the Geek guy was about to be at my house. I just got back from my church where I sing in my youth groups praise and worhship band. O o but I did get an email from my good friend, Constance, today! I miss her so much! Right now she is currently in Samoa as a missionary and she teaches at a school there. To learn more about what shes doing, go to my "blogging buddies" and click on "Constance".

State Fair...

The smell of too many people, unhealthy, greasy foods, and farm animals; the sounds of screaming tourists on rides, workers shouting over microphones, and loud music; the sites of sand sculptures, beautiful flowers, and home made anything of any kind; these are the many things one will experience at a state fair. I've only been to two state fairs in my whole life but the South Carolina state fair was pretty awesome, allot better than I expected actually. As I said the smell isn't to great and just walking around makes me want to wash my hands but today I tried to forget about all that and just have some fun.

When we got there the first place we went into was a big building filled with art and food, not a common mixture, I know, but it was kinda neat, especially since it was air conditioned. The food section reminded me of the classic musical, "State Fair". For those of you who haven't seen it, food is piled neatly everywhere with a ribbon placed on only the best of each kind. There was this pumpkin that weighed 291 lbs. I can only image someones joy as they walked in and saw there prized possession with a first place ribbon on it, after all the hard work and long hours put into what ever it is. In the back of this big building was a section where people could go back and play with cool things, for instance, there was a timer to see how long someone could hang on to a poll on the wall, or humongous bubbles that could fit over your entire body, or twisted pieces of metal that you had to get this ring across with out touching the contorted fixture. It was actually quiet fun once you got past the fact that a ton of people had messed with it before you lol.

There were other buildings; some reminded me of the flea market with many unnecessary but unique objects to buy; ohters had homemade cakes, quilts, and even 18th century dresses; my personal favorite was the garden room with dozens upon dozens of roses and other various plant and even a monstorous, fantasic sand sculpture.

We also went to a section where they kept the animals. It was full of cows, roosters, chicks, ducks, geese, bunnies, and many others. There was this one rabbit that was extremely large; it weighed 13 lbs lol one pound over my fat cat, Daphne. By far, the chicks were my favorite. They had this slide thing that the chick were on. Their food was in a container above the slide, so since there were a few of them and they were all hungry, they would try to get to the food and in the process knock each other down the slide. Then they'd climb back up and repeat the procces. It was very cute. I know what your thinking, "That sounds kinda dull and boring.", well that was fun to an extent but the real fun part was the rides!

I have never, EVER been on or seen a ride that was to much for me. The spinnier, the dizzier, the more stomach churrning, the better! My brother and I rode around 8 to 10 rides and all of them involved spinning lol. After the last one though, my brother started feeling the effects of a stomach churrning ride so we headed out.

We wanted to stop by the Columbia Zoo but my brother and I have been to that zoo so many times that we have it memorized better than the back of our hand. That zoo is actually the only zoo I've ever been to. So we came home, no zoo, all tired and tuckered out. All of us, except for my brother and my grana, took a nap.

When I woke up I sat on the back porch, played with my grana in a heated game of checkers (I won), and captured a green lizard. Lol yes, I like lizards and don't mind snakes but I won't do spiders. Actually ever since I can remember its kinda been like a tradition to capture a lizard every time I come to my granparents house lol so why stop now?

Tonight I get to look foward to the 8 hour drive home I'll be experiencing tomorrow but for now I'm pretty siked since this is the longest blog I've written so far! lol I'm gonna stop writting now...

Great-grandparents and to much cake...

I realized today that I have started all of my blogs with the word "so" lol I'll try to mix it up a bit since that kinda gets on my nerves. Im still stationed in South Carolina but not much happened today.

Today I got to see my great-grandparents and was able to hang out with my cousins. They played on the Wii and on webkinz all day lol so I kinda hung with them and then some with my grandmother in the kitchen. My grandmother is a GREAT cook! She makes anything and everything better than anyone else, especally her desserts! For our visit she made chocolate cake, bananas pudding, coconut cake, and congel salad. I don't personally like the coconut cake or the congel salad but I do like her bananas pudding and chocolate cake! Those, along with my moms fried chicken, will be in heaven. We had Thanksgiving lunch today since we'll be in Disney World for Thanksgiving this year. I'll tell you what, if it was up to my granna people in Africa would never go hungry.

I miss all of my friends back home but I got to talk to a few of my friends after my great-grandparents left. Tomorrow I think we're going to the South Carolina fair but I'm not sure that I'm excited. Its not that I don't like fairs its just that its supposed to be kinda hot tomorrow and the only state fairs I've ever been to have all been boring but we'll see.

Sorry this blog isn't very interesting or random and I'd like to apologize for any mispelled words present, past, and future lol its not one of my best subjects. Anyways thats it for tonight...

Getting creative...

So lol I think I'm offically having to much fun with this blogging thing. I just made it all up to be how I want it to be and it was so much fun that I want to keep adding more! but I can't since I'll make it too crowded looking, plus I want to add new things randomly so it will be fun to visit for you guys. And Natalie, you like the pictures? lol my grandfather loves to take pictures (he used to make all the kids in my 5th grade class leave the room so he could get me in my class room alone lol) so since im at his house I decided to take advatage of it so enjoy.

Today we went to visit my cousins and watch them play their sports. My youngest cousin plays t-ball/coach pitch. He did really well, he hit it with the coach throwing to him and didn't even need to use the T-thing. My second youngest cousin played soccer and he rocked! He scored a hat trick! (for those of you who don't understand soccer termonology it means he scored three goals) His team won 6-3! My oldest cousin plays middle school football but he plays on Thursday nights so I won't get to see him play but I know he's talented. He also dominates in golf. He tied for first place in some division he's in.

I'm watching the GA vs Vandy game (GO GA!) but thier currently behind 17-7 at half time, but they can totally come back! Anyways thats all for now...

Starting something new...

So i told everyone i would never get a blog but here I am following the trend...sigh. I just needed somewhere, some place to write anything down but defenitly not everything down lol. And now that Ive done this I know of absolutly nothing to write down lol thats awesome. Well how about this, I am currently staying with my grandparents in SC for fall break. I just missed a home football game that I would have been cheering at and I would have been cheering for boyfriend but I came here instead to see my great grandfather for, what might be, the last time. Anyways thats all I'll write for now, maybe next time I'll have more to write...lol then again maybe not, we'll see!
